Last night, the Portland Trail Blazers inflicted the first defeat of the season on the current NBA champions, the Oklahoma City Thunder, defeating them at home with 121-119.
Deni Avdija scored 26 points with 10 rebounds and nine assists, and Jrue Holiday scored 22 points for Portland, who trailed by 22 points in the first quarter and took the lead only after five minutes in the last quarter.
At Oklahoma, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was the best as usual, finishing the game with 35 points and nine rebounds. Aaron Wiggins added 27 points and Ajay Mitchell 21 for the Thunder.
With this loss, Oklahoma City’s eight-game winning streak, which was the last undefeated team in the NBA, ended.
The Kings defeated the weakened Warriors
Russell Westbrook is on Wednesday achieved his record 204th triple-double career leading the Sacramento Kings to a 121-116 victory over the visiting Golden State Warriors.

Pelicans’ victory, Matković’s modest performance
The New Orleans Pelicans won their second game in a row last night in the Dallas with 101-99 they were better than the local Mavericks.
Saddiq Bey scored 22 points and Jeremiah Fears and Jose Alvarado each added 13 points for the Pelicans, who announced Tuesday that star forward Zion Williamson will miss at least seven to 10 days with a left hamstring strain.

Deandre Ayton added 22 points and 10 rebounds, and Marcus Smart added 17 points. The Lakers rallied from a nine-point deficit in the final quarter and won without Austin Reaves (groin injury) for the second straight game, while LeBron James (sciatica) has yet to play this season.
Victor Wembanyama was the best individual for the Spurs with 19 points and eight rebounds, but he got five personal fouls with 1:40 minutes left. Stephon Castle scored 16 points with eight assists, while Jeremy Sochan also had 16 points.
The Celtics inflicted their sixth straight loss on the Wizards
The Boston Celtics beat the Washington Wizards 136-107, their sixth straight loss. Jaylen Brown scored a game-high 35 points to help Boston snap a two-month losing streak. Josh Minott added 21 steals, a personal high for the Celtics. The Wizards’ most effective player was Alex Sarr, who scored 31 points and recorded eight rebounds and three blocks.
Mitchell led the Cavs to celebration with 46 points
The Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Philadelphia 76ers 132-121 at home thanks to To Donovan Mitchell who finished the match with 46 baskets. Jarrett Allen added 24 points and 10 rebounds, and Evan Mobley had 23 points, for Cleveland, which did not trail at any point in the game and gained a 116-90 advantage at the beginning of the fourth quarter.
Tyrese Maxey scored 14 of his 27 points in the second quarter and added nine assists, while Quentin Grimes also had 27 points for Philadelphia.
New York Knicks remained undefeated at home, they won 137-114 last night Minnesota Timberwolvesand Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns both participated in their team’s victory with a double-double performance.
Brunson scored 23 points with 10 assists and seven rebounds, while Towns finished with 15 points and 10 rebounds for his seventh double-double in eight games this season for the Knicks.
For the Timberwolves, Julius Randle was the best with 32 points, and Donte DiVincenzo scored 21 points. Anthony Edwards, who returned after missing four games with a right hamstring strain, scored 15 points, while Jaden McDaniels added 13.
Great Jokic again
And the Denver Nuggets are undefeated at home after being beat the Miami Heat last night 122-112. Nikola Jokic scored 33 points, 16 assists and 15 rebounds, and Aaron Gordon scored 24 points.
Miami, which has lost three of its last four games, was without Bam Adebayo for most of the night. He left the field near the end of the first quarter due to a left foot injury. Norman Powell led the Heat with 23 points.
Detroit Pistons have entered the fourth consecutive victory after being outscored by 114-103 at home last night Utah Jazz. Cade Cunningham scored 28 of his 31 points in the second half and added 10 assists for Detroit, followed by Jalen Duren’s 22 points and 22 rebounds. Mykhailiuk led the Jazz with 28 points, while Lauri Markkanen added 25.
