Detroit Pistons basketball players defeated the Charlotte Hornets 110-104 in a game that was marked by a big fight in the third quarter.
The fight resulted in s four shutouts before the Pistons won for the seventh time in their last nine games to snap the Hornets’ nine-game winning streak.
It all started with a conflict that broke out when Moussa Diabate from Charlotte fouled on Jalen Duren from Detroit slapping him on the hands. Duren turned to confront Diabate and punched him in the face, and then the fight spread across the field.
When that conflict was settled, a new one broke out near the middle of the fieldand the main participants were Miles Bridges from Charlotte and Isaiah Stewart from Detroit. Stewart ran off the bench and tried to hit Bridges, who hit Duren.
The epilogue was the expulsion of Duren and Stewart from the Pistons and Diabate and Bridges from the Hornets in the seventh minute of the third quarter when the Pistons were leading 70-62.

New drama it started in the final quarter when Hornets head coach Charles Lee was ejected after reacting angrily to a foul called by the referees.
Lee had to be restrained by other members of the Charlotte coaching staff before he left the court.
The Pistons were led to victory by Cade Cunningham with 33 points, nine rebounds and seven assists, and Duncan Robinson, who scored 18 points until the shutout. Duren added 15 points.
Among the Hornets, Brandon Miller was the best with 24 points, while Kon Knuppel and LaMelo Ball added 20 each.
