The duel brought a large number of twists and turns, and in the end, the Belgraders preserved a peaceful ending and inflicted Dubai with its first defeat in the ABA League this season.
Partizan opened the game better and took a 9:6 lead, but the guests soon turned the score around to 17:13. However, the home team had a 23:19 advantage after ten minutes, and then separated to 33:21, before Dubai fully recovered and came close to 33:32.
At the end of the first half, Dubai briefly led 39:38, but Partizan turned it to 44:39 by the break. The third part took place in mini-series, and the host managed to make a more noticeable difference and moved to 72:58.
Dubai did not give up and with three minutes to go, it came to 77:74, but Duane Washington broke the game with points for 84:76, after which Partizan calmly brought the match to an end (86:76).
Washington finished the match with 33 points, while on the other side, Mfiondu Kabengele scored 20. Kenan Kamenjas scored six points with five rebounds, and Džanan Musa had four points.
In the next round, Partizan welcomes Budućnost, while Dubai plays against Bosnia BH Telecom.
