The driver of McLarena Lando Norris said he was very happy, after winning the rain trail in Australia began the new Formula 1 season.
After spectacular two hours drive in Melborne, Norris is a race champion for a large Australian Award.
The current Champion Max Verstappen had to be satisfied with another place, while the third place took George Russell.
“It was a difficult race because we made a few mistakes. The conditions were awkward, but such races are fun, unpredictable and exciting. This time we managed and I am very happy,” Norris said.
Norris came to his career to his fifth in his career after the exciting finish.
Speaking of difficult conditions on the trail, on which she started raining in the finish, Norris said that the team learned a lot from last season.
“We did a lot of that last season and I believe we learned from our mistakes. This is just the first race, but I could not be relaxed from myself behind me, but due to intense pressure, I could not fully calm down,” a 25-year-old driver.
