At today’s session, the Economic Social Council was reached the agreement of social partners on the way of assisting the economy after the decision on increasing the minimum wage.
The Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH Nermin Nikšić said these are not fiscal reforms, but fiscal interventions that will help come to fiscal reforms.
– We went through two regulations today, one was technical, and that is the possibility of employers who gave employees 1,000 KM salaries or more to increase up to 450 KM. It is significant to note that the decree on assistance is businessmen, these are salaries above the 1,000 KM pay grade. This will depend on the financial options of employers. It is interesting that the decree is valid until 31. July this year, hoping that in that period we will enter into reducing contributions. On Friday, we completed the Law on Fiscalizing Financial Transactions – said Niksic.
He added that employers will be able to commerce those who were previously better paid, and now they came to the level of having a minimum wage.
– The ESV gave support to the regulations, and I hope that we will bring it immediately after the FBiH Government. They are likely to be those who are dissatisfied, who look differently. Earlier, the wages were paid in the envelope, and now it will go officially, and now we will try to give a refund – Nikšić stated.
He added that he might adopt it in the afternoon.
– The criterion is that you have an identification number, that you have no obligation according to the tax administration, that you have paid less than 1,000 km of salary in November. There will be no paperwork, everything will be automatically regulated. The refund will be paid by the middle of March. We made criteria of 300 and 150 km. The right to refund is generated by employers whose profit is less than 6,500 KM per worker. As for paying the salary, these decisions have no connection to it, writes Avaz.
