The famous striker of Brazilian Santos Neymar is ready to consider a return to Europe or departure to the American MLS if he does not stay in his homeland, Spanish AS reports.
Due to a number of injuries, the 33-year-old played just 19 of the 38 rounds of the Brasileirao, which began in April, and scored eight goals to help the team avoid relegation.
But with the next domestic season starting in mid-February and with knee surgery in the coming weeks, the superstar remains hopeful of being included in Brazil’s final squad for the 2026 World Cup next summer.
And that means he could look for a new club if he doesn’t renew his contract with Santos, which expires at the end of this year, and has been linked with MLS champions Inter Miami, where former Barcelona team-mate Lionel Messi awaits him.
