At least seven people lost their lives in flash floods after heavy rains in the Moroccan province of Safi on the Atlantic coast, the Moroccan authorities announced.
20 people were injured in the floods.

Rescue operations continue.
One hour of heavy rain was enough to flood about 70 houses and shops, wash away ten cars and cut many roads in the province and its surroundings.
