The statement said that 19,910 students were killed in the Gaza Strip, while 148 students lost their lives in the occupied West Bank.
The Israeli army injured 30,097 students in Gaza and 1,042 students in the West Bank, according to the report.
According to the ministry, 1,037 teachers and school staff have been killed, 4,740 wounded and more than 228 detained since the start of Israel’s war on Gaza in October 2023.
Israeli attacks completely destroyed 179 schools and 63 university buildings in Gaza, while 118 state and 100 United Nations-sponsored schools were partially damaged.
It was also stated that 30 schools were deleted from the ministry’s official records, along with their students and teachers.
In the West Bank, two schools were completely destroyed in Hebron and Tubas, and eight university buildings were partially damaged during repeated Israeli raids.
According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, since October 2023, Israeli attacks have killed more than 68,200 people and wounded more than 170,300.
The occupied West Bank has also seen a sharp increase in attacks over the same period, with at least 1,056 Palestinians killed, around 10,300 wounded and more than 20,000 detained, including 1,600 children, according to Palestinian official sources.
