Borca’s talented footballer David Vuković was injured in the last round and will miss the derby with Zrinjski in Mostar, which is scheduled for Monday at 6 p.m.
He confirmed this at today’s press conference Vinko Marinovićwho will not be able to count on Nikola Terzić and Jurich Karolina, who were injured earlier, while David Čavić also has problems, whose performance is under question.
“We will definitely miss Vuković, Čavić is under question, so we have personnel problems. However, we have a good roster and we hope that those who get the chance against Zrinjski will give their best.”
The coach of Borca points out that the expectations for the most interesting match of the 12th round of the WWin League of Bosnia and Herzegovina are high.
“We play the first game of the season with Zrinjski as guests, but we have ambitions to achieve a positive result. Zrinjski is a good team, with a lot of experience and quality, and it is up to us to be focused from the first minute to the last, with maximum discipline both in the defense and in the attack. We know that Zrinjski has the best defense in the league, they have not conceded many goals, so we will need good concentration to the opportunities we create and take advantage of. Also, in the attack, they know how to punish and take advantage of every mistake,” said Marinović.

On the eve of the derby, there were certain “games” and “poisonous arrows” directed at Borec by Zrinjski coach Igor Štimac, but according to Marinović, it does not affect them at all.
“We don’t think about it at all. We look at ourselves, work and prepare for this match, and soon we will have another one with Zrinjski. There is also a match in Sarajevo, and the cup in the meantime, so we have a lot of obligations ahead of us and we are all just concentrating on the field as much as possible.”
Zrinjski played bravely in Mainz, but was defeated by the Bundesliga side by a minimal score in the Conference League. There is no doubt that Marinović could have additionally scouted the next rival there.
“They played a good game, as much as they could, considering that they played with one less player. They gave their maximum. They have a wide playing staff, so against us I expect some players who didn’t play last night,” said Marinović, writes Mondo.

“From the first day, I feel at home. The boys accepted me nicely, the dressing room is very positive, the players who are standard and those who play less work equally well, and I can freely say that I have never had this kind of atmosphere in any of the clubs I have been to,” said the Borca striker.
Jojić also watched Zrinjski’s match in Germany, and was once again convinced that this is a solid team that does not allow many chances.
“We have a difficult away game ahead of us. Zrinjski may be a slight favorite at home, but we are going to fight and show our quality. We will not give up on our plans, our way of playing and I believe in a positive result,” said Jojić, and added that he does not care who scores the goal, as long as Borac celebrates.
“I never put myself first, the team comes before everything. Now I would sign to win, without giving or setting up a goal.”
