Russian tennis player Anna Kalinskaya reached the quarterfinals of Roland Garros for the first time in her career after defeating Austrian Anastasija Potapova with a score of 6:4, 2:6, 7:6 (10:7).
Their duel on the Suzanne-Lenglen court lasted almost three hours, and Potapova missed two opportunities to serve for the match in the deciding set, after which Kalinskaya made a big comeback in the super tie-break.
In the additional tie-break, Kalinskaya managed to make up for the deficit of 4:0 and in the end celebrated 10:7.

For the 22nd seed, it is the second place in the quarterfinals of a Grand Slam tournament, after she achieved the same success at the Australian Open in 2024.
