Austrian skier Julia Scheib won the World Cup giant slalom in Kronplatz, Italy on Tuesday, recording the fourth victory of her career in World Cup races.
Scheib was the third after the first runbut she won with the best time in the second run.
The second was a Swiss woman Camille Rast (+0.37), and third place went to the Swede Sarah Hector (+0.46), which was the fastest in the first run.
The best American skier today Mikaela Shiffrinwhich has 107 World Cup victories, took the fourth place (+0.86).
Nine months after a serious injury to her left leg, the current Italian World Cup winner Federica Brignone returned to the ski slopes, and with an excellent performance in both races, she won sixth place (+1.23).

The best Croatian female skier Zrinka Ljutić she did not enter the second run, after she drove the first run with a gap of 4.41 seconds and achieved 39th place.
In the overall standings of the World Cup, Mikaela Shiffrin leads with 973 points, and second is Camille Rast with 833 points. Julia Scheib, who is the leader in the giant slalom standings, climbed to the fifth position with 560 points.
Zrinka Ljutić is in 15th place with 286 points in the overall standings of the World Cup.
The next stop of the Women’s World Cup is Špindleruv Mlýn in the Czech Republic, January 24 and 25where giant slalom and slalom will be raced.
