Iran does not plan to resume nuclear negotiations with European countries after re-introduced sanctions, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Monday.

– We do not have plans for negotiations at this stage – said the spokesman of the Ministry of Esmaeil Baqaei, adding that Iran examines the “consequences and implications of” re-introducing sanctions that were initiated as E3.
– Of course, diplomacy – in terms of keeping contacts and consultations – will continue – Baqaei said.
– Whenever we feel that diplomacy can be effective, we will surely make decisions based on the country’s interests and priorities – he added.
