Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi and his Saudi counterpart, Faisal Bin Farhan Al Saud, condemned a plan proposed by US President Donald Trump to relocate Palestinians from Gaza.
In the telephone conversation, two foreign ministers discussed the development of events in the West Asian region, including Gaza, and bilateral links, said in a statement published by the Iranian Foreign Ministry.
The American-Israeli plan on the forced relocation of Gaza residents in accordance with the “completion of the Colonialist Conspiracy for the Elimination of Palestine,” Araghchi said, calling the international community to “decisive action to oppose conspire.”
He condemned “rude” statements of the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who proposed the establishment of the Palestinian state in Saudi Arabia, describing these statements as an indication of Israeli insect “unprecedented and threatening peace and security in the region.
Araghchi pointed out the necessity of convening an extraordinary ministerial meeting of the organization of Islamic cooperation (OIC) that would deal with this issue.
He also pointed out the importance of expanding the relationship between Tehran and Riyhand and continuing bilateral consultations on regional issues, which greeted his colleague from Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, for its part, emphasized the “Fixed” position of its country on determined opposing any plans forced relocation of Palestinians from Gaza to other countries.
