Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered the Ministry of Defense to prepare proposals for a response to the attack by Ukrainian forces on a student dormitory in Starobeljsk in the Lugansk People’s Republic, in which six people were killed and several others were injured.
This attack, as he pointed out, is a manifestation of neo-Nazism and confirms the terrorist character of the Kiev regime, and said that Russia cannot limit itself to statements only.
The Russian president called the attack a terrorist attack and stated that it was carried out at night, while the students were sleeping.
According to reports that Putin received from the leadership of the LNR, the Ministry of Defense and the Federal Security Service, 15 people are missing.
Putin emphasized that the attack by Ukrainian forces on the student dormitory in Starobelisk was not accidental, as it was carried out in three waves with 16 drones targeting the same place.
He pointed out that there were no military, special services, or related structures near the student dormitory.
Putin rejected claims that the hit could have been the result of Russian anti-aircraft defense or radio-electronic warfare systems, and stated that it was a direct strike by Ukrainian drones on a civilian object.
He assessed that Kiev needs such attacks in order to divert attention from the situation at the front and later shift the responsibility for the consequences to Russia.
He called on the Ukrainian soldiers not to carry out the “criminal orders of the Kiev regime” because, otherwise, they themselves become accomplices in those crimes.
Putin stated that “desertion in the Ukrainian army is reaching catastrophic proportions and is becoming a mass phenomenon,” reports Sputnik.
– This attack once again shows who Russia is dealing with and what it is fighting against – Putin said and added that the Russian authorities will do everything to help the injured and the families of the dead.
The Russian President ordered the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia to inform the international community about the crime committed by Kiev in the Luhansk People’s Republic, where six people were killed and several injured in an attack on a student dormitory.
– The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been instructed to inform international organizations and the international community about this crime – said Putin at a meeting with the participants of the “Time of Heroes” program.
