The father from Pakistan killed his son wanting to punish him for friendship with transgender people, local police have published today.
The man in the southern city of Karachi attacked the son by the Electrician first, and then prompted him by hitting him with a shovel, he published the chief of the local police Sher Mohamed.
Police arrested a man the day before, and he admitted his crime. He told investigators that he was furious on his son because he refused his advice to stay away from transgender people.
“I was angry because my son was a friend with dirty people and brought a family to a bad voice,” the father-in-law commander quoted.
Transgender persons in Pakistan are often kicked out of the family and hated in society, and the state ignores them, writes the DPA agency. Live lonely lives on the margins of society, and much prostitutes.
Hate crimes such as murders, abduction and rape are common over the members of that community, transmits DPA.
