The Government Office in Gaza announced that another Palestinian journalist Husam Shabat was killed in the Israeli attack, Anadolia reports.
The statement states that the murder of another journalist, the number of journalists killed in Israel’s attacks from 7. October 2023. increased to 208.
They invited all journalistic and television institutions, especially the international journalist Federation and the Arabian Federation of Journalists, to “condemn these systematic crimes committed against Palestinian journalists in the Gaza belt”.
“We invite Israel, USA and countries such as Great Britain, Germany and France, which are accomplices in the crime of genocide, to take responsibility for this cruel crime,” they added.
The Israeli Army has launched a sudden air campaign on Gaza, killing more than 700 Palestinians, injuring more than 1,000 others, by disrupting the fire breaking agreement and the exchange of prisoners who entered into force in January.
The International Criminal Court issued in November of the Order for the arrest of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the former Defense Minister of Yoav Gallanta for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
Israel also faces the case of genocide in the International Court of Justice for its war in the enclave.
