The Yemeni Militio Huti, supported by Iran, has announced that she launched a ballistic rocket aimed at a “sensitive Israeli location” in the southern town of Beer Shevi, claiming that the operation was to continue the Israeli military campaign in Gaza.
In a statement published by the Group’s spokesman, Huti stated that they fired a ballistic rocket as part of what they called with his “duty towards the oppressed Palestinean people and heroic mujahedins in Gaza.”
Earlier, the Israeli army announced that a rocket was discovered that comes from the direction of Yemen. An air defense is activated, and the rocket is most likely successfully intercepted.
Huti also took responsibility for attacks on military goals in the past week. It included goals near Beer Šeba, Tel Aviv and Haife.
The group, supported by Iran and which controls most of the northern Yemen, several times aimed for Israel and ship’s red sea routes from the beginning of the war in Gaza in October 2023. Years.
