The basketball players of HKK Mostar continued with excellent games at the start of the season and registered another victory in the 2nd round of the Championship of the Basketball Association of Herceg Bosna.
In the match played on Sunday in the Bijeli Brijeg Sports Hall, the people of Mostar won Posusje team as a result 92:78.
The Mostar team imposed from the very beginning of the match high rhythm of the gameshowing great energy and combativeness in defense, while in attack they made excellent use of transition and shooting from outside. The advantage of the home team grew from minute to minute, and in the middle of the third quarter, Mostar was even 31 point difference. The best individual of the match was the American playmaker Alvin Mileswho once again confirmed his great form by scoring 40 points, 9 rebounds and 5 steals, along with 3 assists.
Along with him, Filip Božić – a child of the club from Mostar and one of the main players of the game – added 19 points, 5 rebounds and 3 steals, while the young Robert Grizelj impressed again with 15 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Vlado Zadro also had a double-digit performance with 11 points.
They were the most effective with the guests from Posušje Ante Kovač with 25 points, Josip Ramljak with 16, and Ante Begić with 15 points.
With this victory, HKK Mostar remains at hundred percent effect in the domestic championship, and in the next round they are expected to visit the team Shoulderwhere they will try to continue their winning streak and further strengthen their good start to the season.
