Goražde volleyball players are finishing their preparations for the spring part of the BiH Premier League

The expectations for the rest of the season are the fight for the first four positions that lead to the fight for the champion of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

– Preparations started immediately after the New Year holidays, and unfortunately, coach Erna Marevac does not have a complete playing staff at her disposal. We had injuries to two players who play for the first team, Nejra Merkez and Ajla Vesnić, and, unfortunately, we will not be able to count on Nejra probably until the end of the competitive season. Ajla is currently recovering and we hope that she could join the team in training and matches in ten days. I hope that there will be no new injuries because already on Saturday in the city hall Goran Čengić in Sarajevo we will play a match of the 13th round against OK Ort Novo Sarajevo – said the president of OK Goražde Nermin Obuća.

Along with the preparations of the first team, the juniors of OK Goražde took part in an extremely strong competition in Sarajevo, where they secured the final of the strongest junior championship in FBiH.

– It is still not known in which city it will be played, but it is known that OK Napredak from Odžak, ŽOK Lukavac, OK Ort Novo Sarajevo and OK Goražde qualified for that championship. I hope that we will manage to achieve one of the first two places at that federal championship as well, which will lead us further towards the end of the BiH state championship – said Obuća.

He noted that most of the players who will perform at the end of the junior championship of Bosnia and Herzegovina will also play in the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the rest of the season. The goals of the club and expectations from the spring part of the championship are unchanged, to maintain the continuity of good games and fight for placement among the first four teams that will ultimately fight for the title of champion of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
