The meeting was attended by the Federal Minister of Displaced Persons and Refugees Nurin Dizdar, and the Federal Minister of Fighters and Disabled Defense-Liberation War Nedžad Lokmić, the FBiH Government’s Office said for public relations.
Preparations were discussed for the celebration of this anniversary, for which the Federation of BiH previously already approved the funds of 500,000 KM, while an additional 50,000 KM have been allocated at the last session of the Government for direct support to the organizational committee.
Prime Minister Nikšić pointed out that his presence of the part today is to inform the implementation and preparations for the celebration of 30. The anniversary of genocide in Srebrenica, as it is still necessary for the Government to help the Organizing Committee. He stressed that all logistics capacities of the Federation of BiH were made available, and added that the Government with the line ministries will do everything in order to contribute to the marking of the marking with dignity.
The President of the Organizing Committee Hamdi Fejzić expressed gratitude to the Government of the Federation of BiH and Prime Minister Nikšić, emphasizing that without its realization in the planned volume would not be possible. He informed that all activities in the final phase, including the expansion of the capacity for buses with visitors, as well as the installation of masts with the 83 UN member states in Srebrenica, as a gratitude to these countries. It is also pointed out that all preparations were completed for this year’s peace, and insured transportation and medical teams, as well as that all the resources of the Federal Civil Protection Administration are made available.
Minister Dizdar reminded that, in addition to support through the Program of the Federal Ministry of Displaced Persons and Refugees of 500,000 KM, from the Budget of the FBiH and, according to the Federal Prime Minister, secured additional 650,000 KM for infrastructure works. He stressed that all works on the route of the march of peace from Nezuki to Potocar were completed to be ready for the safe passage of this year participants. He reminded that last year was done by heliodrom in the circle of Srebrenica Memorial Center, as well as other facilities.
Both Minister Lokmić expressed full support to the Organizing Committee, and the Federal Ministry of Fighters and Disabled Defense-Liberation War, in addition to the regular financial support for projects in the Srebrenica region, also made available during the anniversary mark.
The meeting was also said that the BiH Government, as well as so far, remain fully committed to supporting all activities aimed at preserving the memory, truth and dignity of the victims of the Srebrenica genocide.
