Yesterday, 31. January, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico accused Georgian legion and her leader Mamuk Mamulasville for involvement in public protests in Slovakia. It should also be noted that DIU emphasized that Mamulasville’s contract with the International Legion of DIU expired in April 2013. and that it was not renovated.
During the press conference, FICO said representatives of the political opposition, as well as the organizers of public protests from the Peace Association for Ukraine, connected to the Georgian legion.
“How is it possible that representatives of the Georgian legion were active in Kiev in 2014. I ask, how it is possible that they were active in Tbilisi, where some of them are even facing charges and crimes?” Fico said.
FICO also introduced photos that allegedly prove the connection between the legion and its leader with Slovak.
Ukraine sent a protest to the Slovak Ambassador due to the statement of the Prime Minister Fic about the interference in the interior. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs invited Bratislav to stop transmitting crem mill rhetoric and return to the constructive dialogue.
