The Federation’s Tax Administration has implemented on 21. March 2025. total 191 inspection over the Federation of BiH, and on the basis of applications received through the “Workers’ Protection” platform. The controls referred to respect for tax laws, fiscalization, contribution calculation and minimum salary payment.
On that occasion, the inspectors discovered 13 unregistered workers and 12 taxpayers who did not record traffic via the fiscal device. In two cases, the payment of part of the salary “on hand” was determined, while in 34 controls contributions were not calculated on the minimum basis for 2025. year. In 16 cases, a delay was recorded in the payment of contributions for the previous periods.
Due to the identified irregularities, 78 misdemeanor orders were issued with total financial penalties in the amount of 117,450 KM.
Penalties per cantons
Most controls were performed in Sarajevo Canton (52), where penalties were imposed in the total amount of 11,000 KM. Tuzla Canton with 42 controls and penalties of 49,250 KM, while 40 controls were recorded in the Central Bosnia Canton, with sentences of 26,500 KM. In Zenica-Doboj Canton, inspectors performed 30 controls and sentenced penalties in the amount of 16,100 KM.
A small number of controls were performed in Herzegovina-Neretva (15 controls, 4,500 km of penalties), West Herzegovina (5 controls, 3,500 km of penalties) and unitary canton (7 controls, 6,600 km punishment).
The FBiH Tax Administration announced the continuation of inspection oversight in order to increase the tax discipline and suppressing irregularities in the labor market.
