The President of the Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik will attend today and tomorrow in Jerusalem an international conference on anti-Semitism.
The meeting was themed by Neue Zürcher Zeitung, entitled “Israel is organized by the Conference on Anti-Semitism – and the FRANCE EXTREME RIGHT”, in the text that “representatives of Jewish organizations are indignant – and kept away from the conference.”
“The decades in Israel there is a consensus: No representatives of the extreme right in Europe. The positions that partially arise from the fascist organizations should not be empowered by the Israeli Government. This taboo is now broken. In protest against “uplifts in the political nobility” of these parties, many friends of Israel and representatives of Jewish communities from all over the world have already announced that they would boycott the conference. However, the call for the European Right Margin testifies to fundamental political changes in Israel launched by the current, most common government in the history of the state – and which have repercussions until Europe.
Jordan Bardella, Leader RN, and Marion Maréchal, the grandson of the Founder of the final right party Jean-Marie Le Pena, who passed away in January, are the most controversial guests at the conference on anti-Semitism. Their names in the list called listed the French very left philosopher Bernard-Henry Lévy, otherwise a passionate friend, to cancel his planned participation.
RN has been trying for years to get an official invitation for Israel. It has so far considered Israeli diplomats due to the anti-Semitic roots of the former National Front, whose Frontman Le Pen once described German nationalist gas chambers as a “tiny detail of history.”
What is striking is that German AFD and Austrian FPÖ did not receive invitations. As long as this Israeli policy towards AFD and FPÖ will last – it remains to be seen.
