British Council Program for Women in Stem Provides scholarships to talented scientists for postgraduate qualifications in the UK, stimulating career success globally. This year, the program allocates 25 scholarships in 12 countries, including access to a diverse spectrum of Master studies, with comprehensive benefits, such as complete tuition coverage, monthly visa and visa and health insurance fees.
Sarajevo, 7. March 2024. -British Council in Bosnia and Herzegovina announced the fifth year in a row to award scholarship within the program Women in Stemwhich is scholared to be scholared by talented scientists, enabling them to acquire postgraduate qualifications worldwide in the UK. This program empows scientists in Bosnia and Herzegovina to achieve a career success in their country and the international scientific community.
British Council this year Provides 25 scholarships for scholarship holders from Turkey, Western Balkans, Central Asia and the South Caucasus. The program allows access to a diverse choice of 82 Master’s program in five prestigious British universities – Cardiff University, University of Westminister, Cranfield University, City St George’s, University of Glasgow.
After completing their programs and courses, scientists return to their countries to contribute to the Stem sector, as well as shared valuable links and experiences from the UK. Last year, Ivana Velimirović from Sarajevo who is currently at the University of Glasgow attends the master’s program focused on the sustainable aquash and we look forward to contributing to more efficient management and care of waters in BiH.
Designed as an opportunity for those scientists who did not have the opportunity to study abroad, the program gives the advantage of candidates that could not afford to educate abroad without this scholarship. Emphasizing equality, diversity and inclusion, the program welcomes the applications of the scientists of all ages. In addition, candidates should meet the conditions for enrollment at a certain university course, including the appropriate undergraduate study completed.
A Women’s Program in Stem for academic 2025-26. year It covers full tuition, monthly scholarship for living, return flights to UK, visa fees and health insurance, as well as the IELTS test fee, if necessary.
