From the Association of Employers of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, they said what now expected after the entity government made a decision on the growth of the minimum salary from 619 km to 1,000 KM.
They noted that after the decision, the Economic and Social Council (ECV) of the FBiH in order to adopt the measures to mitigate the negatively consequences of this decision, and above all, as they claim workers in the real sector, and thus its businesses.
They assure that representatives of the FBiH and union government accepted their proposal to consider mitigation to mitigate the negative consequences of the decision, after which two sessions of the ESV were held.
As they pointed out, in accordance with the conclusions from the ESV, the FBiH government has taken over the obligation to make ending system solutions, ie the employer’s burden on the basis of additional salaries and special obligations on the name of the gross salary the worker.
“By respecting written and other expressed interests and suggestions of employers, chambers, branch and local associations, the academic community, we agreed to the attitudes of the budget, but also delegation of priorities and criteria with the purpose of protection and the sustainability of companies and crafts” They stated.
As they emphasized, the government currently finalizes two regulations – one that refers to the reimbursement of the contribution between the earlier minimum salary of 619 KM, and the other one enables the payment of assistance to salaries for salaries above 1,000 KM.
In the UP FBiH, they pointed out that their Board of Directors in the past period had five extraordinary sessions, practically, as they rated, continuously sitting and looking for the best solutions. They announced that they would continue to work in that intensity.
“The paper continues during the weekend, aware that urgent intervention measures are necessary to avoid serious consequences by jobs and economies,” they stated.
They are still concerned with the decision, for which it claims to bear all employers – small, medium, great, exporters, craftsmen because, as they claim, clearly not easy to find fair and sustainable solutions in these circumstances. They singled out what that is what they still expect from power.
“We are looking for additional flexibility and full understanding because no segment of the economy is spared the consequence of the adopted and valid decision. The government must recognize the urgency of the situation and find additional resources and mechanisms to protect both employers and workers – even before the adoption of permanent system solutions, “they emphasized.
They also still insist on a multi-year request, and it is a reduction in the enormous business burdens, in the concept of government announcements on the entry into force of the Law on Fiscalizing Transactions in FBiH. And the adoption of fiscal regulations no later than 1. September 2025, with full application from 1. January 2026. They believe that this will allow the contribution on the rate of 28.5 percent.
“And then, this will only part of the expected measures and systemic solutions that employers in the FBiH require the authorities. Others also relate to the abolition or reduction of paraphic loads, amendments to the health insurance of workers, eliminating non-major competition through the existence of a gray market in almost all branches of the labor and numerous other issues, “said.
As they said from UP FBiH, they expect the government to urgently approach the implementation of these measures to ensure the stability of the business environment and prevent negative consequences for the economy, writes Clix.
