China hopes that various parties can maintain communication on the Iranian nuclear issue and continue dialogue and negotiations, Foreign Minister Wang Yi said during a telephone conversation with his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi on Wednesday.
– The current political process of solving the Iranian nuclear issue is at a standstill and it is not in the common interest of the international community – said Wang, judging by the minutes of the phone call published by his ministry.
The Chinese foreign minister also reiterated China’s support for Iran’s right to peaceful use of nuclear energy, Reuters reports.
