A video of Branko Milićević, better known as Branko Kockic, in which he is seen watching the protest from the balcony of a building on Trg Slavija in Belgrade, has spread on social networks. Photographer Gavrilo Andrić recorded the well-known actor and former councilor of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) as, according to the description of the post, he observes the gathered citizens with visible reserve at the rally called “You and me, Slavija”, reports Nova.rs.
Branko Kockica was previously a deputy of the Serbian Progressive Party in the Belgrade City Assembly, and he left that position in September last year. Nevertheless, in November 2025, he was seen again near Pionirski Park, where he passed by a group of citizens gathered around Dijana Hrko, the mother of a young man who died in the collapse of the canopy at the railway station in Novi Sad. She announced a hunger strike on the anniversary of the tragedy.

Earlier incidents in the Assembly
His political activities were previously marked by incidents in parliamentary bodies. During the 2022 session of the Committee for Monuments and Names of Squares and Streets in Belgrade, Milićević entered into a verbal conflict with members from the “Ne davimo Beograd” movement and the MORAMO coalition, using offensive and inappropriate vocabulary, after which he threw materials from the session at them.
Two years later, in 2024, he participated in the debate during the session of the Belgrade City Assembly where the mayor was elected. Instead of the expected speech about the candidate, then and current mayor Aleksandar Šapić, Milićević made a performance.
After he got the floor, he went to the lectern and exclaimed: “Aleksandar Šapić…!”, with theatrical movements and grimaces. Then he added: “I have no words, we have palms”, and with a gesture invited the councilors of the ruling majority to applause, which followed in a modest form. After that, he left the booth, reports Nova.rs.
