The Spanish coach on the bench of the Qatar national team, Julen Lopetegui, announced the preliminary list of footballers he will count on at the World Cup in the USA, Canada and Mexico.
There are as many as 34 players on the list, but in the end “only” 26 will travel to the World Cup, according to FIFA rules.

The first star of this national team is Akram Afif, who is also its captain. This 29-year-old winger plays for Al-Sadd and his value is estimated at eight million euros.
Among the more famous Qatari players on the list are Hassan Al Haydos, Almoez Ali and Pedro Miguel.
As a reminder, Qatar will be Bosnia and Herzegovina’s last rival in Group B of the World Cup, and that match is scheduled for June 24 in Seattle.
