Israeli emergency services said at least 12 people were injured in the central part of the country on Tuesday night after a rocket was launched from Iran.
The Magen David Adom (MDA) emergency service said it provided first aid to nine injured people in the town of Bnei Brak, near Tel Aviv, before they were transported to hospitals in the area.

Among the injured is a 23-year-old man in medium serious condition with shrapnel injuries in the stomach and head, as well as “eight people with minor injuries, including six children.”

Three more people were injured in nearby Givat Shmuel, MDA said.
AFPTV footage from Bnei Brak showed extensive damage to buildings, including a balcony that collapsed onto a car, while photos released by MDA showed a building where a top-floor apartment had collapsed to a lower level.
