The International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) and the Palestinian Union of Journalists (PJS) condemned the killings and continued attacks on journalists.
They called for an immediate investigation into the murders.
“In such dangerous conditions, the IFJ reminds journalists in the field to take precautions, wear professional protective equipment and not travel if the media company does not provide them with all the necessary professional safety equipment for reporting. No story is worth the life of a journalist,” the IFJ announced.
In cooperation with the Palestinian Union of Journalists, they stated, they are trying to verify the information and document all the killings.
In a statement, the International Federation of Journalists published a list of journalists and media workers killed since the beginning of the war in Gaza.
