Conflicts between the Afghan and Pakistan forces are seriously escalated, and Taliban authorities claim that 58 Pakistan soldiers were killed in recent operations, 30 and 25 military positions.

Pakistan closes the border and sends reinforcements
Pakistani authorities answered the closure of the main border crossings Torkham and Chaman, as well as several smaller transitions. Islamabad warned that every next act of aggression would be reciprocated “determined and without compromise”.

Reuters and Associated Press state that diplomatic contacts are underway, but that the situation on the field is changing rapidly and remains unstable.
