On the last day of the European Junior Taekwondo Championship in Aigle, Switzerland, Bosnia and Herzegovina representative Anja Hrgić won the bronze medal in the category up to 63 kilograms.
In the first match, Anja defeated the representative of Norway with a score of 2:0, and then in the duel that ensured her a medal, she was better than the representative of Spain with a score of 2:1.
In the semi-final battle, the young contestant from TKD Novi Grad Sarajevo was unfortunately defeated by a contestant from Serbia, and instead of appearing in the final, she had to settle for bronze.
Adna Berbić (-59 kg), Lucija Miličević (-68 kg) and Nino Šeremet (-78 kg) were stopped in the next round after successfully completing their performances in the first round.
Emin Demić (-68 kg) was defeated by a representative of Azerbaijan in his first appearance, while Adin Hodžić (-73 kg) lost his first match against a representative of Spain.
Tomorrow in Aigle, the European Senior Championship in the Olympic categories begins.
