The Railways of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina informed the public that the railway in Donja Jablanica was reconstructed again.
After successfully completing the test phase and technical admission, the Federal Ministry of Spatial Planning issued a license for the use of the railway on 30.01.2025. . Thus, all conditions for restarting the freight and passenger traffic on the route Sarajevo-Čapljina are met.
Starting from today, traffic will be first introduced from the traffic, and the establishment of passenger traffic on the route Sarajevo – Čapljina – Ploče is planned for 10.02.2025. .

The reconstruction of the railway in Donja Jablanica was realized thanks to the Donation of the Turkish company Cengiz Insaat Sanayi VE Ticaret AS – the subsidiary of Zenica, who donated project documentation and construction work. The works began on 10.12.2024. years and completed on January 23, 20125. .
