Former Liverpool coach Arne Slott has turned down Fulham’s offer to take over the first team bench.
The Dutchman, who was fired at Anfield last week, quickly became the main target of the London club, but decided to turn down the opportunity to return to the Premier League, writes Goal.com.
Fulham is actively looking for a successor to Marco Silvawho is leaving the club to take over Portuguese giants Benfica. The slot became available after Liverpool sacked him just a year after winning the English title, and Andoni Iraola was appointed as his replacement at Anfield.

If Ronald Koeman steps down after the World Cup, the position of coach of the Dutch national team opens up. I think Arne Slot is very, very interested in the position and is probably the ideal candidate. He can apply his Dutch style of football – attacking, with a lot of passing, whatever you want to call it. I believe the Dutch would love to see him on the bench.
Sloto’s departure from Anfield he concluded a period with variable successduring which he achieved 66 victories in 113 games. His second season proved extremely disappointing.
Despite leading the team after a summer transfer window in which the club spent almost £450 million, Liverpool finished fifth in the Premier League and failed to win a single trophy.
