Crvena zvezda basketball players achieved a safe victory on the road against Budućnost in Podgorica with a score of 80:93 in the match of the 18th round of the ABA League.
The home team opened the game better and had a 29:22 advantage after the first quarter.
However, Zvezda took control by the end of the second period, reversed the score to 33:35 and went into halftime with a 38:45 lead.
The third period brought several changes in the leadership, but the people from Belgrade entered the end with a 64:67 advantage.
In the decisive moments, Izundu stood out with important jumps on both sides of the floor, which Zvezda took advantage of and broke away to 75:83 with a series of threes, to bring the match to a peaceful end with a score of 80:93.
The most effective player in the winning team was Nwora with 21 points, while Morgan and Ferrell scored 14 points each for Budućnost.
