A delegation of the Turkish parliamentary commission overseeing the disarmament process of the outlawed PKK militant group paid its first visit to jailed leader Abdullah Ocalan on Monday, the office of the speaker of the parliament announced.
During the meeting at the prison on Imrali Island near Istanbul, the delegation asked Ocalan for his views on the dissolution and disarmament of the PKK, as well as the implementation of the agreement between the Syrian government and the Kurdish Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), the statement said.
