An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.4 hit Afghanistan tonight, November 2, reports the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center.
According to them, the earthquake was recorded in the area of central Afghanistan, and the epicenter was at a depth of 10 kilometers.
It added that the epicenter was 28 kilometers south of Khulm, and 51 kilometers southeast of Mazar-i-Sharif. According to local media reports, the earthquake was also felt in Kabul.
So far, there is no information about damage or casualties, but EMSC is receiving calls from residents who state that the earthquake lasted for minutes.
Many residents of Tajikistan also came forward, one of whom wrote: “Fortunately, no one was injured, but this lasted for four minutes. The first two minutes were very scary.” They even contacted from Uzbekistan.
