A strong earthquake, the volume 5.6 degrees in Richter’s scale, was hit by the area around the island of Fiji in the Paji Okean today, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC) was transferred.
As stated, the epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of 535 kilometers, at a distance of about 600 kilometers from populated areas.
For now, there is no report on possible injuries and material harm. No warning is issued for the risk of tsunami.
