The Minister for Spatial Planning, Transport and Communications and Environmental Protection of the Zenica-Doboj Canton Adnan Šabani, Director of the Cantonal Directorate for Roads ZDK by authorization of the Minister Albin Ćatić and Director of the company “Porobić” doo Zavidovići Edin Porobić signed today the Contract for the execution of works “Rehabilitation of the regional road R444 Podlugovi – Breza”.
The subject of the contract is the performance of the rehabilitation works of the regional road R444 Podlugovi – Breza in the value of 94,594.50 KM, and the deadline for the performance of the works is 45 days from the date of the introduction of the contractor to the work.
– Due to technical reasons, the signing of the contract was delayed, but I believe that the contractor will meet the deadlines and that the important regional direction for the population and economy of Breza and Vareš, and therefore the Zenica-Doboj canton, will be even better very soon. This year, close to one million KM was spent on the reconstruction of the regional road in the area of Breza and neighboring Vareš from the ZDK budget – said Minister Adnan Šabani.
In addition to the funds provided for in the Plan for the Protection, Maintenance, Reconstruction and Construction of Regional Roads in ZDK for 2025 in the amount of 24.6 million KM, the Prime Minister of Zenica-Doboj Canton Nezir Pivić and Minister Šabani on September 22 of this year signed contracts on the transfer of 2.8 million KM for capital projects of road infrastructure in ZDK. On that occasion, 150,000 KM were paid to the municipality of Breza for the rehabilitation of Maršala Tita Street with sidewalks in the narrower city area and the rehabilitation of part of the local road Breza – Prhinje.
