The football players of Sloga and Zrinjsko met in the first meeting of the 11th round of the WWin League BiH on Saturday at 1:30 PM in Doboj, and Plemići led from the 52nd minute with an own goal by Josip Kvesić.
The guests came into the game better and more aggressively, but after the initial pressure, Sloga woke up. The first one a more serious opportunity they have the home team in the 15th minute when Jović throws in, the ball hits a Zrinjski player, but Karačić manages to react with the help of the goal post. Three minutes later Zrinjski has a crossbar.
Then followed a quieter period of the game until the 35th minute when Dujmović scores a good attempt from distance, but the ball went just over the goal. Two minutes later he tries Ivancicbut Erić defends it.
In the last minute of the first half, captain Sloga Milanović started sharply over Captain Zrinjski Bilbia. The main referee of the match Haris Halkic he ruled yellow card for that offence. VAR also announced, it was being checked potential red cardbut Halkić stuck to his decision. Despite the better play of Igor Štimac’s team in the first half, the starters went to rest 0:0.
Second half
Zrinjski took the initiative in the rest of the game, but Sloga got the first chance again. After a mistake by the visitors’ defense, he found himself in a good position Jovic in the 52nd minute, but sends the ball wide. Immediately on the other side, the visitors retaliate – Mamić crosses into the penalty area, the ball from Savić reaches Kvesic which own goal brings leadership to Zrinjsko from 0:1.
Sloga is visiting Sarajevo for the next match, while Zrinjski is visiting Mainz on Thursday in the second round of the Conference League.
