HŠK Zrinjski Mostar and FK Borac Banja Luka said goodbye to former player and coach Mladen Žižović via social networks, after the public was shocked by the news of his untimely death.
HSK Zrinjski Mostar received with deep sadness and disbelief the news of the death of Mladen Žižović, a former player and coach who left a deep and indelible mark in the history of our club. He spent most of his playing career in the jersey with the ribbon, making 170 official appearances over seven seasons.
He was one of the symbols of the generation that brought Plemići the first BiH Cup trophy (2008) and the second championship title (2009), and eight years after leaving for Mostar, he returned in a new role, becoming the fourth player to be appointed head coach of Zrinjski after the club’s work was restored.
