Zelensky claims that he has what the Americans do not have: We are waiting for Trump "yes"

After talking to CBS Face the Nation, he said that US authorities wanted to test Ukrainian drones for air, land and naval operations, but that a framework bilateral agreement had not yet been reached.

Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine already has agreements on drones with certain countries of the Middle East and Europe and that it is preparing a major agreement with the European Union.

He pointed out that cooperation with the USA would be beneficial for both sides: American companies have advanced AI technologies, while Ukraine has unique military experience in the use of drones.

On Sunday, Ukraine carried out new attacks on Russian energy infrastructure. According to the Ukrainian General Staff, the drones hit the Rosneft oil refinery in Saratov, causing a large fire. The Lazarevo gas station in Kirov Oblast, more than 1,200 kilometers from Ukrainian territory, was also attacked, as was a fuel depot in Rostov Oblast.

At the same time, Russian drone attacks on Ukraine claimed new victims. In the Chernihiv region, a truck driver was killed, while around 40,000 people were left without electricity. The attacks also hit Dnipro and a refinery in the Rivne region. In the Dnipropetrovsk region, one person was killed and nine were wounded.

Zelensky announced that Germany had delivered a new launcher of the Iris-T system to Ukraine and called on the allies to secure additional supplies of anti-aircraft missiles. He emphasized that they are crucial for defense against increasingly frequent Russian attacks.

In the same interview, Zelensky accused Russia of treating kidnapped Ukrainian children as future fighters, saying that it is raising them in hostility towards Ukraine. He also said that some children were separated from their siblings and given to different families for adoption. The International Criminal Court has issued an arrest warrant for Vladimir Putin for alleged war crimes related to the deportation of Ukrainian children.

Zelensky said that he wants to continue the peace negotiations before the arrival of winter, considering that the current strategic position of Ukraine is more favorable than before.
