Zelensky said yesterday that Ukraine captured two soldiers from North Korea in the Kursk region of Russia.
According to Ukrainian and Western estimates, about 11,000 troops from North Korea are in the Kursk region to assist Russian forces. Russia has neither confirmed nor denied their presence. Zelensky says Russian and North Korean forces have suffered heavy losses.

“Ukraine is ready to hand over soldiers to Kim Jong-un if he can organize their exchange with our warriors captured in Russia,” Zelensky said.
He released a short video showing the interrogation of two men posing as North Korean soldiers.
Zelensky said that there may be other options for North Korean soldiers who do not want to return home “and that those who express a desire to bring peace closer by spreading the truth about this war in the Korean language will be given that option.” He did not elaborate.
