At the proposal of the Minister of Health AIDE Salčinović, the Government of the Zenica-Doboj Canton ensured the necessary funds for the procurement of hydraulic gynecological chairs of women with this canton, as well as two hospitals, the Cantonal Hospital Zenica and the General Hospital Tešanj, be equipped with this important medical Equipment.
The Minister acted according to the BiH Personal Initiative with the Disabilities of BiH and help ensure the necessary funds for the procurement of hydraulic gynecological chairs for reviewing women with disabilities. The initiative, which dates from November 2024. year, aims to enable women with disabilities, as well as women older, easier access to gynecological services.
– These hydraulic gynecological chairs are not just the need for women with disabilities, but also a woman of older age facing different health challenges. Given that human health is the right to be available to everyone, this procurement has special significance. With this rank, not only do our health service more accessible, but also harmonize the action with the UN Convention on Persons with Disabilities, whose signatory and Bosnia and Herzegovina – said Aida Salčinović.
According to Minister Salčinović, the CC is the first Canton in the Federation of BiH, which in this way will ensure the procurement of hydraulic gynecological chairs for women with disabilities in all its health and hospitals.
– I am especially happy and proud that the Government of the ZDK understood the importance of this procurement for the improvement of health care, and for the provision of equal conditions for all citizens, regardless of their physical possibilities – said Salčinović.
In the coming period, the transfer of funds to all health centers in the Zenica-Doboj Canton in order to procure these hydraulic gynecological chairs, which will be improved conditions for the disability and older people, and the greater availability and quality of health care.
