Minister of Justice and Administration Nebojša Nikolić, on behalf of the Government of Zenica-Doboj Canton, signed today with representatives of the Independent Union of Civil Servants and Employees in Civil Service Bodies, Judiciary and Public Institutions in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Annex II of the Collective Agreement for Civil Servants of Administrative and Judicial Authorities in the ZDK area.
The contract was signed on behalf of the Union by Melisa Isaković, cantonal coordinator of the Trade Union Organization of Civil Servants and State Employees. The signing was attended by the Minister of Finance Dženana Čišija and the President of the Trade Union Organization of the Cantonal Bodies of the Civil Service of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, Abdulah Imamović.
We remind you that on November 28, the Government of the ZDK approved the signing of the Agreement on Accession to Annex II of the Collective Agreement for the employees of administrative and judicial authorities in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. At its 44th session, held on September 24 this year, the ZDK Assembly adopted amendments to the Law on Salaries and Remunerations in Cantonal Authorities, which relate to the calculation of past work.
This created the conditions for joining the annexation of collective agreements with unions of civil servants and state employees, with the previously obtained consent of local self-government units. Past work has been increased from 20 to 24%, and officials have been using that right since November 1, after the changes to the law came into force. With today’s signing, the formal procedure has ended.
This enables the local communities in ZDK that have given their consent to the Government, that is to Minister Nikolić, to apply Annex II of the Collective Agreement for employees of administrative bodies and judicial authorities from today.
