On June 7, 2026, Zavidovići hosted one of the most important fashion events in Bosnia and Herzegovina – the Zenica-Doboj Canton Photomodel Contest 2026, which was held in the packed hall of the Zavidovići Cultural and Sports Center.
The audience enjoyed an evening filled with beauty, elegance, talent and positive energy of young girls who presented their self-confidence, communication skills and stage performance in front of the expert jury through several performances.
The title of Top Photomodel of the Zenica-Doboj Canton 2026 was won by Hana Čišić from Žepč, who won the sympathy of the jury and the audience with her performance, charisma and overall impression.
The titles were won by:
* First runner-up: Vahida Džafić (Visoko)
* Second runner-up: Hana Topalović (Visoko)
* Top Face ZDK: Ajna Osmanović (Zavidovići)
* ZDK audience photo model: Hana Ćisić (Žepče)
* Top Model Fashion M: Ilhana Šehić (Zenica)
* Media Face ZDK: Majla Mehanija (Tešanj)
A special contribution to the entire project was made by the previously held Models Camp, an educational program through which female candidates went through workshops on personal development, public speaking, communication skills and a healthy lifestyle. During the camp, the girls had the opportunity to acquire new knowledge, develop self-confidence and adopt values that will benefit them in further education and professional development.
One of the significant segments of the camp was the fitness and healthy lifestyle workshop led by fitness trainer Nusreta Bahtić, promoting the importance of physical activity, healthy habits and taking care of one’s own health.
The program was further enriched by the students of the Zavidovići Primary Music School, while the excellent atmosphere during the evening was completed by musical guests Almir Delić and Ajla Isić.
The mayor of Zavidovići, Erna Merdić Smailhodžić, addressed those present, who expressed her satisfaction that the city is hosting such an important event and thanked the organizers for the successfully implemented project.
In her address, she wished good luck to all participants in the competition, stressing that physical beauty is only one segment of success, while education, work on yourself, character and knowledge are values that have lasting importance and are the foundation of every true success.
The organizers point out that the project continues its mission of promoting young talents, healthy life values, culture, education and empowerment of young women throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The general sponsor of the event was the City Administration of the City of Zavidovići, led by Mayor Erna Merdić Smailhodžić.
