Tešanj municipality and Sparkasse Bank have announced a public call for subsidized housing loans intended for young people up to 35 years old who are solving their housing problem for the first time.
The program enables more favorable financing conditions thanks to a subsidy from the Municipality of Tešanj, which will subsidize the interest in the first five years of repayment, while Sparkasse Bank approves loans without processing costs.
Persons up to the age of 35, including those who will turn 35 in 2026, residing in the Tešanj municipality, who are solving the housing issue for the first time and meet the creditworthiness requirements, have the right to apply. Also, the applicant’s spouse must not be or previously was the owner of the apartment or house.
The subsidy refers to loans in the amount of up to 60,000 KM, with a repayment period of up to 20 years. The loan can be used for the purchase of an apartment or house, as well as for the construction of a house in the Tešanj municipality, provided that the property has all the necessary documentation and permits.
The interest rate is:
- 2.99 percent fixed for repayment up to 10 years,
- 3.59 percent for a period of 121 to 180 months (dual interest rate),
- 3.99 percent for a period of 181 to 240 months.
In order to obtain the right to the subsidy, the beneficiaries must repay the loan regularly and cannot sell or dispose of the property in any other way during the first five years of repayment, that is, during the duration of the subsidy.
Applications are submitted through a joint public call of the Municipality of Tešanj and Sparkasse Bank. Requests can be submitted in person at Sparkasse Bank branches in Tešanj and Jelah or electronically, with the submission of prescribed documentation.
Public invitation it is open 30 days from the date of publicationthat is, until the expenditure of the planned funds, and at the latest until December 31, 2026.
Beneficiaries will be selected by a joint committee composed of representatives of Tešanj Municipality and Sparkasse Bank, in accordance with applicable procedures and legal regulations.
