Pavle Sarac, talented football player born in 2007, after terminating his contract with AS Roma, returns to Široki Brijeg, where he will sign a new contract with the club until 2028.
Confirmation of his arrival was given by his agent Franjo Vranjković.
Namely, AS Roma registered its U21 team for Serie C for the next season, and they offered contracts to the players born in 2007. Out of 13 offers, as many as 9 players, including Pavle Sarac, decided to refuse to perform in Italy.
We terminated the contract with AS Roma and Pavle is now a free agent. He is currently on the way to Široki Brijegwhere will sign the contract on Monday. He is happy to come home, he declared for Vecernji.ba Franjo Vranjković, agent of Pavel Sarac.
As possible next steps for Pavle, there was the option of moving to U19 team of Hoffenheim or Stuttgartbut, as Vranjković points out, a more attractive option was a return to Široki Brijeg, his former club.
We were looking for an option for professional football, and returning to our home club was the most attractive to us. For Pavla, Široki Brijeg is like a family, therefore, we decided it was the right step. Here we are, coming back and signing! said Vranjkovic.
Pavle Šarac gained recognition as the best scorer of the County League in 2019, when he scored 16 goals playing for Široki Brijeg.
With the return of Pavle Šarac, Široki Brijeg gets one of its most promising former players, who could soon show his qualities in the senior team.
