As early as Friday, February 6th, we have as many as three games waiting for us: Rudar – Široki Brijeg from 4 p.m., Zrinjski – Sloga from 6 p.m. and Sarajevo – Radnik from 8 p.m.
On Saturday from 18:00 Velež will host Borac from Banja Luka at Arena Rođeni, while on Sunday Posušje will host Sarajevo’s Željezničar in the early slot from 13:00.
Mostar’s “Rođeni” are in a series of nine games without defeat under the leadership of coach Ibra Rahimić. It’s a streak that has been going on since October 19 last year, and it’s a big question whether the Banja Luka players will end the league, given that they’ve never celebrated in Mostar in history (except for the interrupted game from 2021, which was registered with 0:3).
It will be interesting to see what and how much the Sarajevo teams can do. Željezničar starts the half-season quite restarted with a new management structure, new players, but also a new coach, Slaviša Stojanović.
Sarajevo, on the other hand, after a great end to the year, wants to continue in the same rhythm, and in that mission they will be without the best player from the past seasons, the Georgian Guliashvili, who made a great transfer to Spain.
