At the session of the Federal Parliament, the Federal Parliament, 28. January, the Judgment on the Domestic Violence and Violence on Women in FBiH, as well as the bill on amendments to the FBiH Criminal Code.
Thus, the proposed legal decision on violence provides greater powers to the police in the temporary approval and detention of the bully and significantly tightens the criminal policy, and in which the European Union directives are also partly taken into account.
The possibility of electronic surveillance of a violator is envisaged to a certain measure of the apartment and approach the victim, and the criminal offense of violation of protective measures is introduced, while the application of violence is the legal obligation of all institutions.
On the other hand, the proposed changes and amendments to the CC FBiH introduces a number of other crimes, such as sexual harassment, abuse of sexually explicit content, steering, and other acts that can be misused against children. A new type of commission of this crime is also introduced, ie that it is possible through information and communication technologies.
Also, one of the newspapers will be preventing the purchase of the penalty for criminal offenses against freedom and sexual morality, the crimes of sexual abuse and exploitation of the child, crimes against marriage and family, to the detriment of the child.
Although numerous NGOs, especially after the murder, Hećimović, sought the introduction of femicids as a special criminal offense, that proposal was rejected. Despite this, several NGOs from the FBiH entire, the amendments refer to the introduction of a special member – a difficult murder of a woman, ie gender-based murder.
Also, amendments also relate to the introduction of new attitudes that define the terms of gender, violence, gender-based violence and a female person.
– It is very important for easier understanding and implementation of Article 166a, therefore, a new member – said for “Avaz” Neira Raković, program manager in the NGO “Voice of Women”.

Quality norm
– When it comes to proving, it is essentially and as for each other work. The law needs that amendment and we have proposed a quality norm, given that it is a norm in Croatia prepared by their experts and rated as very high quality in Europe – says Rakovic.
They also supported the support of the majority of the members of the Commission for Gender Equality, but also the other commissions.
– In this law, the most important thing should be to create a final legal framework that will enable judges and prosecutors to strive to punish the perpetrators of these serious crimes. There is support to resolve this issue – says “Avaz” Belmin Zukan, president of the legislative-legal commission.
Violence in a huge rise
Nada Dalipagić, a famous lawyer, supports, as he states, any solution that would lead to reducing violence against women. In particular, it says, which is an increase in violence in a huge increase, not only physical and mental already sexual and cyber violence.
– The essence speaks, at all, on our relationship and the position of women in society and the attitude and state of respect for the woman, especially. I point to the fact that the criminal offense of Murder is prescribed in our criminal law and that the penalty has been improved up to 10 years, and in the case of special cruel murders, it is possible to say the penalty of long-term prison, ie. up to 45 years. Thus, I mean that legal solutions and prescribed penalties for these criminal offenses are appropriate – says Dalipagić for “Avaz“.
He also tells that, when it comes to violence of all kinds against women, these events should not turn their heads, but also obliged to report them to the police and the prosecution.
